Flowers on their own, sometimes need to be juxtaposed with something else to acquire relevance. In Fleuressence, natural flowers are seen in a new light by exposing them under artificial light; a light, nevertheless, useful to emphasize their texture, colour and shape. Far in time technique and intention, the series explore the beauty of nature while aim to highlight how our perception can be changed by insignificant, banal lighting, acquiring a new and deeper meaning.

Drawing inspiration from imagery associated in different creative and artistic professions, Fleuressence, is a delicate and intimate exploration through the spectrum of the nature of beauty. The first two chapters of the project, Bloom, were published between 2018-2020. The last two chapters, will be published in 2020-2021.
